This countdown is officially on. As of tomorrow, I am 37 weeks, and will be considered full term. There are 21 short days between now and the due date. In an effort to be more mindful and reflective about these last few weeks of pregnancy, I am going to *attempt* to post daily with some little insight, update or musing about the remainder of pregnancy, leading up to labor.
There are so many things on the to-do list for these last few weeks. Jon and I continue to debate about what my last day of work will officially be...March 30th or April 6th? Today I met with a pediatrician for a consult, and tried to imagine toting the bambino there, or taking them to the little restaurant inside afterwards when they are older. The idea that this pregnancy will end is still somewhat foreign and even more strange perhaps that we will get to meet this little one that has been slowly becoming a part of our family since last summer.
