Even though this is baby #2, I still wanted to have some time to celebrate this pregnancy and his upcoming arrival with friends and family. I'm so glad that I had the chance to celebrate not just once, but at three different events. Once with my VJJ ladies as Olivia and I jointly celebrated the next round of BJJs at the beginning of July. Then again with family and close friends, in a beautiful shower hosted my sister and mom. This shower definitely had a different feel then my previous shower for Henry. It was kid friendly, as most of my friends have little ones now. Last time, only baby Arthur joined us for the shower. It was fun to see how life has changed for everyone in the past few years. And then finally in a very sweet shower hosted by coworker, who also just had a baby a little less then 2 months ago. So much baby love every where!
I feel so lucky to have all these amazing and inspiring women in my life. I was talking to my aunt about how fortunate I feel to have the support of my tribe of mothers, all at various stages of mothering to support me on this crazy journey of parenting. I don't know what I'd do without them.
