I think I have been postponing these posts because I'm seriously in denial that this sweet baby boy could be 8 months old already. Holy cow! Slow down time.
Jonah can move backwards, but isn't quite up on all fours yet. Honestly its probably my fault because I don't give him much floor time because with 2 big brothers it honestly does not feel super safe. Not to mention it seems like we are always on the go, so there is little time to just relax at baby pace.
He took his first ever flight, as we went back to North Carolina for my cousin Victoria's wedding. Jonah was a traveling champ, even with a red eye flight. He probably slept the best out of any of us.
He doing better with solids, but prefers food he can feed himself vs. purees. But with experiencing solids, it has been harder to have regular BMs.
I'm continuing to be dairy free, which seems to be helping with the gassy he was having before.
He still loves hanging with his Nana and Grandma on days I'm at work, but the second I come home and he registers my face, he bursts into tears, as if to say "I just now realized I missed my mama".
He loves talking about his "DADADADA", but on Mother's Day, he said "Mama" for the first time.
