Jonah is 2 months old

Happy 2 months, to our sweet Jonah!

It has flown by and yet it also seems like you've always been here! You have dazzling blue eyes (so far), you are smiling and coo'ing for us, you are weathering all the love your big brothers give you, and you are surviving your first cold (sorry for all the preschool and kindergarten germs).

We have had a couple more weekend trips with you. We went to Seaside and played on the Oregon coast for my sister's birthday weekend. We also enjoyed a long weekend up on the Hood Canal at my aunt and uncle's house.

You were the 3rd Strauhull boy to be a banana for your first Halloween, and the neighbor's could not get enough of how adorable you looked.

We wrapped up our care at Alma with our midwives and our now transferring over to the Randall Pediatric clinic where my sister works.

When Jonah is awake, he loves to be held up right and looking all around. And when he lays on the ground, he is so busy, kicking and waving his arms and legs around, like a fast paced pilates teacher. He loves to sleep snuggled up in the carrier or cozy in bed or couch, as long as he is being held. We like to joke that he is like toy cans that you tip over and it makes an animal sound, because after he is done nursing, as soon as he is upright he lets out the loudest burps (but no spit up, yay!).
