We've had a super fun start to our summer with a week with my family in Sunriver and a long holiday weekend in southern Oregon. More to come a out that. This post is dedicated to the bullet point happenings of Henry.
- His language skills are growing by the day. He has started using signs for water, sleep and phone. And has more words then ever, including "gink", which we're pretty sure means drink. Though he uses to describe any water, including rivers and pools.
- He is so close to walking! He stands on his own, and often gives himself a round of applause for doing so. No self esteem issues here. And we will take a step from there to throw his arms around his mama or dada.
- Still an avid dancer and reggae lover, he has now been to two live concerts of Ziggy Marley and Michael Franti.
- He took his first camping trip this weekend and it was a success with only minimal amounts of dirt consumed.
- He's becoming a more adventurous eater and losing some interest in breast feeding, unless he's sleeping that is. {I'm down to pumping once a day at work for only 15-20 minutes}.
- Speaking of sleeping, we're still rocking the futon in his room for some extending co-sleeping, but we are nearing a full crib transition in the near future.
- He has approximately 7 teeth and about 4 more on the way, including his first molar.
- He is becoming quite the personable little guy, smiling, waving and flirting with most people he encounters.
- We're about to graduate our current nanny share and start a new one with my sister and her baby Kai at our house when she returns to work towards the end of July.
