3 months old!

I know all parents say this, but time truly does fly and they grow up so fast. Its hard to believe Henry is already 3 months old. What is also amazing is how I can continue to love him more every day.

In the interest of full disclosure and not to seem inhuman, I admit that there have been a few times that I have been at the end of my rope. Mostly, that occurred on our drive to San Diego, when I was feeling sleep deprived and trying to fight off a cold and Henry was crying inconsolably, and at that moment he did not seem quite as loveable as he normally does. But every mom has there moments like that, right?

This is also my last week of maternity leave (more on that later), so I am trying my darnedest to soak up all Henry's sweetness in these last few days of being his 24/7 care provider.
the whole fam on Henry's actual 3 month bday
So, what is our darling 3 month old up to these days...lets see...
  • He is very close to being able to roll from his tummy to his back
Isla helps Henry practice rolling over
  • He loves to swat at things held above him
  • He is figuring out how to grab and hold onto toys, which is coming in handy because...
  • He is starting to teeth, and he needs to be able to hold onto his chew toys, as I mistakenly continue to call them
  • He is getting closer to sleeping thru the night. Most nights he'll go to bed around 9:30 and will sleep until 3 or 3:30 (though I'm sure I just jinxed it by bragging about it to you now).
  • Also he has the cutest laugh, all around adorable. (can't get the video have his laugh to upload, so I'll have to make another post if I can get on here)

Happy 3 months little boy! We love you the most!

  1. End of your rope? Been there. Many Many times. Don't beat yourself up too much.

He's a beauty. Its such a bummer to go back to work just as they are getting more interactive.
