We enjoyed our 3rd annual 4th of July Camping trip with the Leedy family. We met the Leedy's when were both unmarried couples traveling and teaching abroad in Costa Rica in 2006. We instantly connected as native Oregonians and happily meet somewhere in the middle of our beautiful state every 4th of July to camp together. Our kids are perfect stair steps in ages, Rya is 4, Henry 3, Jasper 22 months and Leo is 10 months. Everyone played well together and we enjoyed some of the natural beauty of the gorgeous Umpqua National Forest along Canton Creek, a warm-ish river that flows into the North Umpqua river.
