10 months old: Double digits!

Our little boy has reached the double digits! That one year mark is truly just around the corner. Here is what is knew in Henry's world.

  • He is talking all the time. He is getting better and better at mimicking sounds and consistently will say sounds like "dog" when he sees Isla.
  • He is a cautious boy, but his nanny share friend, Francie, and his grandmas are teaching him about the world of walking. Just yesterday he got some practice with Nana Molly and his baby walker. Soon he'll be copying Francie and starting to cruise on furniture
  • He loves his baby sign language class! He is always dancing and swaying to the songs we sing. And he continues to be quite dextorious, but hasn't started using signs consistently, except for the sign for MILK.
  • He has two sharp teeth cutting through on the top. He is not normally a very fussy boy, but you can tell these teeth are bothering him.
  • His hair is getting longer and longer. I love it. But due to be mistaken for a girl a few times, I have considered getting him a haircut. I think he kinda looks like the Justin Bieber haircut, don't you? So cool and he is not even trying. ;-)
Proof of Henry walking.

Everyday with him is truly a delight. We feel so lucky to be his parents and to all the community that love and support him in so many ways.
