I've always been a pretty sound sleeper. And with having a child I was nervous about sacrificing my sacred sleep. Fortunately I have adjusted well to our new sleep schedule, in part because we co sleep and I only have to wake up half way to nurse throughout the night.
In my half slumber last night, Henry was on the outer edge of the bed when I suddenly felt Henry roll away, off the edge of the bed! With my lightening fast mama reflexes, I managed to hold onto one of Henry's legs as he dangled off the side. I quickly pulled me back to safety and he spent the rest of the night snuggled between me and Jon. I think it may be time to rethink our co sleeping situation.
On another note, tonight Henry went to see the nutcracker. He sat mesmerized throughout the first act and then happily snoozed the second half. It's so fun to be starting these new family traditions together. We're looking forward to all the fun festivities of the weekend much more to come!
