Leo @ 9 months

Our little Little Leo is growing up so quickly, it is amazing. We were just at his 9 month check up and marveling at how much he's changed in the past 3 months. From barely sitting up to being 100% mobile and loving his new found freedom. He is weighing in at 23lbs 7oz and is 29 inches long and his head circumference is still in the 100%.

Here are some of the monthly updates:
  • This boy is on the move. There is no stopping him and his crawling action. With his new found freedom, he has quickly discovered fun things like, the electrical outlets, cords and the dog dish! Mmmm....
  • He can pull up on his own now. He figured this out on the side of the bath tub, which is the perfect height for pulling up. And he has started to cruise
  • He loves taking baths with his big brother, especially splashing big bro.
  • Loves trying all types of new food. Mac + cheese has been his favorite this month.
  • Clapping his hands, ummm, adorable
  • Interactions with Henry are getting more...hmm...interesting. Sometimes they are fighting over toys, sometimes they wrestle, sometimes they make each other giggle in the back seat of the car (my favorite) and sometimes Henry yells at him, "Stop looking at me Wee-oo!" I'm sure this is just tiny glimpse into the brotherly relationship that will continue to evolve.
  • He loves drumming and pounding on tables, bowls, anything
  • He had his first "glamping" trip with us on the Oregon coast. He loved the beach and enjoyed not eating so much sand.
  • He is babbling more with dadadada, bababa, and maaaamaaaamaaaa when he is sad.
  • Still co-sleeping and sleeps best with some snuggled next to him
At the top of Cascade Head north of Lincoln City, what a view!
Hanging around the camp fire at Devil's Lake State Park
    Beach time in Lincoln City
With his Dada, on Jon's Birthday
    Happy 9 months baby boy!

Only still for just a moment before he's back on the move!
