Its totally wild, but Leo is 8 months old! How did that happen? Its been a crazy month for this boy! He took his first airplane trip to southern California and did beautifully. He graduated from Jon's work and is now with Grandma Karen one extra day a week until August when we hopefully will find a nanny share. He got 3 new top teeth over the past month (poor guy!). He is basically crawling, which is right on par with his brothers development as I was looking back at his 8 month blog post. He walks to hands forward and then either brings one knee forward or hops both knees forward. Very close. He easily goes from all fours to sitting. He is sleeping in his crib for the first little bit, usually from 8-10:30pm, or so and then is in bed with us the rest of the night, because really that is the path of least resistance. He is out of the co-sleeper officially since he was in bed with us most the night anyways and we've added the lovely styling of our pack 'n play to our bedroom, so he can play safely (mostly in the mornings when we get ready for work) and be out of reach of his big brother. He is starting to enjoy solid foods more. His favorites seem to be beans and bread crust.
Despite the discomfort of teething, he is still an easy going baby most of the time. He cries when he sees me when I come home to pick him up after work and when big brother is too rough. People, even strangers, continually comment on his demeanor and his gaze. Since birth, he has this ways of looking at you like he is peering into your soul. Its mesmerizing. Here's you baby love having you in our family.
