Leo at 2 months

It's so crazy that we are already at the 2 month mark for Leo. We have all been adjusting to our new normal. So far, everything about having a newborn has been far less shocking. I mean we've already made the transition to parenthood, so the sleep deprivation and diaper explosions are not a surprise. Leo has been a sweet addition to our family. He is laid back and willing to tolerate a rowdy older brother who cannot wait to wrestle him.

At his 2 month check up last week he measured in at 14lb 8oz (93%), 24.5" long (98%) and head circumference of 16.85 (100%). I think it's safe to say breast feeding is going well, even while still tandem nursing.

It has been so fun to see Leo's little personality start to develop. He seems a tad more serious than Henry, with his super intense gazes that feels like he can see into your soul. He is smiling and will coo back and forth with you. I've heard him giggle in his sleep and am waiting for the day he finds something silly enough to laugh about in this world. He is strong and loves to see the world from an up right position, either standing or being held up. And he is already close to rolling from his tummy to his back. He is easily living up to his lion namesake.

This gaze.
This has the be the sweetest sad face I've ever seen. He often gets this big frown right before a big cry.
