filled with gratitude

Well, I'm a bit late to the table with my thanksgiving post. But I'm a firm believer that gratitude and thanksgiving are feelings that should be practiced throughout the year.  The minute I remember all the things I'm grateful for, grudges, resentments and any bitterness seem to melt away and all I'm left with is an expansive feeling of love and deep appreciation.

Here is the short list of all the things I'm feeling incredibly grateful for:
1. Family: I'm so lucky to have family near and far that are so incredible supportive and have cheered me on in good times and bad.
2. Friends: there are an abundance of people in my life that continually have remained so present and so loving. I'm am grateful for all they bring to my life.
3. Our home: I have to pinch myself some days coming home to our beautiful new place...could this really be ours?? and I'm so grateful for the warmth our friends and family have already brought to our home.
4. My husband/partner in crime/adventurer extraordinaire: how amazing to have found such a perfect life partner. there is no one else I'd rather wake up to or come home to every day...I feel so blessed to have Jon in my life.
5. Our bambino: last and certainly not least, on the short list of gratitude, our sweet little babe.  Pregnancy has been an adventure unto itself and I'm grateful for this journey and this growing, wiggling life that is present inside me.

Okay, I'll cut out the cheese for now. But seriously, I'm so so grateful.

And here are a few pictures from our thanksgiving.
